My Notes Keeper:

Basically, it uses a hierarchical tree view to organize "notes". DM Genie has something similar to this, but this app features far better text formatting and text control/manipulation than DM Genie. It also allows you to embed pictures in-line, as well as ANY kind of file as an attachment. It saves all to one single file (everything embedded) for easy backup and portability.
So when I create an adventure, each major section (i.e. act) is its own node, then each encounter is a sub-node, and so on. I embed all maps, relevant pictures, even sounds and other stuff directly in the program. Everything is link-able so I can just click to play/open or move around the tree structure. Can insert hyperlinks to the web to look up on d20srd.org or wherever.
I think its really nice and well worth checking out for any serious DM.
Would I pay for it? I don't know, I cr-izz-ack'd mine. But it is definitely worth trying out, I am much better organized now than I ever have been. I actually wish the guy who makes DM Genie would quit his day job and make the adventure editor in DMG like this one, but this one works well enough. Very well, in fact.
