Feats for your critique. Note that IMC there are no half-races.

DWARVEN HERITAGE

You have a Dwarven ancestor. You have inherited some of his or her Dwarven traits.

PREREQUISITES: Must be 1st level and not be a Dwarf.

BENEFITS: You gain Stonecunning and 30' Darkvision as racial abilities.

SPECIAL: If you already have Darkvision, then it is increased by 30'. If you have low-light vision, the Darkvision replaces it. Also, if you are of small size or less, add 6 inches to your height. If you are large size or bigger, deduct 6 inches from your height.



ELVEN HERITAGE

You have an Elven ancestor. You have inherited some of his or her Elven traits.

PREREQUISITES: Must be 1st level and not be an Elf.

BENEFIT: You gain the Elves automatic search ability and a +1 racial bonus to Listen, Search and Spot checks.

SPECIAL: If you are small size or less, add 6 inches to your height. If you are large size or bigger, deduct 6 inches from your height.



GNOMISH HERITAGE

You have a Gnomish ancestor. You have inherited some of his or her traits.

PREREQUISITES: Must be 1st level and not be a Gnome.

BENEFIT: You gain a +2 racial saving throw bonus to illusions and can speak with burrowing animals once per day.

SPECIAL: If you are tiny size or less, add 6 inches to your height. If you are medium size or bigger, deduct 6 inches from your height.



HALFLING HERITAGE

You have a Halfling ancestor. You have inherited some of his or her traits.

PREREQUISITES: Must be 1st level and not be a Halfling.

BENEFIT: You gain a +1 morale bonus on saving throws against fear effects, and a +1 racial bonus to Climb, Jump and Move Silently checks.

SPECIAL: If you are tiny size or less, add 6 inches to your height. If you are medium size or bigger, deduct 6 inches from your height.



HUMAN HERITAGE

You have a Human ancestor. You have inherited some of his or her traits.

PREREQUISITES: Must be 1st level and not be Human.

BENEFIT: You may pick an additional class as a favored class.

SPECIAL: If you are small size or less, add 6 inches to your height. If you are large size or bigger, deduct 6 inches from your height.



ORCISH HERITAGE

You have an Orc ancestor, You have inherited some of his or her traits.

PREREQUISITES: Must be 1st level and may not be an Orc.

BENEFIT: You gain +2 Strength, but get -1 Intelligence and -1 Charisma.

SPECIAL: If you are small size or less, add 6 inches to your height. If you are large size or bigger, deduct 6 inches from your height.

I like the idea! :)

I think you may want to stipulate that it must be the first feat you choose.

You may also want to incorporate ability score modifiers in a weaker capacity to the races they derive their heritage from(?)

eg. Elven Heritage +1 Dex, -1 Con etc.
 

And what about the half elf or half orc: they have for sure human heritage, plus something else.... Do they can stack those feats with their race adjustements?

No. These are a substitute for half-races. For instance, a half-orc would be a human with the orc heritage feat, or an orc with the human heritage feat.

As for the atribute modifiers, I considered that, but abandoned the idea for no really good reason. :-) Should I add them?
