Heroes Death Pool: Writers Strike FINAL ROUND!

As you know, with Hollywood's Writers strike the fate of Heroes has been put on the line. With the current season being threatened to a premature end and Heroes: Origins canclled it's hard to tell what exactly is going to happen. YET, there is hope because the producers decided that they will create an alternate ending to this season.

With one episodes left to this series, the death pool has entered into the Final Round. thankfully, as a result of the ratings drop, the final episode has been reworked and according to the trailer "TWO HEROES WILL NOT SURVIVE"! Meaning we are now in a Final Double Jeopardy round!


The rules of the poll has been changed. The character must exist for more then one episode to be a viable bet and the character must stay dead. You may change your vote but not during the airing of an episode. Unlike before, you get two votes, two chances to win.

1. The Helix Killer(s) was revealed as being Adam "Kensai" Monroe AND/OR the Nightmare Man.
2. The Nightmare man is in a coma.
3. Peter has joined forces with Adam "Kensai" Monroe
4. Adam "Kensai Monroe" and Hiro have a score to settle against each other.
5. The company wants Adam "Kensai" Monroe dead via the surresh virus.
6. Slyar wants to kill the Snooze Twins, and Claire. In last season's future Slyar had the power of flight (and was impersonating Nathan).
7. Slyar and Peter are "mortal enemies"

Pending Deaths (AKA Safe Bets):
1. Nikki has the Surresh virus "super strain"
2. Nathan was to die in the first Sarresh Virus outbreak.
3. HGR via head shot by West or Mohinder as depicted in an Issac Painting.
4. Honduran Snooze twins by Sylar (he wants to munch their brains after he is healed)


Protected Characters
1. Claire: There is no way Mohinder will make her into a test subject.
2. West: Deserves death but is creepy/psycho enough to survive
3. Ms. Patrelli: She lives for at least one year.


Since Next week's episode is a bridge between season 1 and 2, voting on DL is not an option because he was already dead before the season started.

With that said. I'm really hoping that HGR changes the future by killing of Mohinder. So I'm going to abandon my personal hate of West and placing my chips onto Mohinder,

Sylar's current lunch menu is getting rather long, the question is how long will it be before he trys his powers again, just to see if it is working. I look at the map, Mexico to California or Texas (Claire's old home). Still think Natan is a prime target but West is looking good.

I nearly forgot about all the people Slyar wanted to kill... like Peter, Nathan and Claire.

Nikki is done. Stick a fork in her. It's over. She's a regular, so that matters.

Alejandro is also up for death - but I'm not sure he'll go before Nikki (or possibly in the same "season finale" episode.)

Being that this week's episode was a summery of what happened before the series started, none of the deaths which occurred count towards the death poll however just in case someone wasn't watching here is the rundown.

1) Alejandro's wife and his best man (mid coitus) via Maya's tears of death.
2) The biggest assortment of Latino extras in an American production since since Viva Zapata! via Maya's tears of death.
3) DL via point shot to his broken heart via some random guy Nikki/Gina was banging in LA.
4) A Venezuelan police officer via Maya's tears of death.


However, next week looks like it will get interesting because AT LEAST ONE PERSON SOMEONE IS GOING TO DIE* and from the looks of it it could be either:

1) HGR via Headshot by Anyone
2) Mohinder via Headshot by HGR
3) Bob (?) via Headshot by HGR??


* Assuming Claire's blood isn't used and/or Hiro's personal mission to save his father fails.

And they also announced in the preview that there are only 3 episodes left to the season.

Fortunately I already have dibs on Bob. I thought the future scenes were not for next week though but for the rest of the season (3 episodes). I am now even more convinced Bob is a goner with scenes of Elle crying but I could be wrong. The real question for me is whether Syler or HRG knock off someone else sooner than Bob gets it.

Just to point something else out. The Snooze Twins may be in for a shorter life than we expect. If the company was responsible for holding Sylar and they had the drugs to suppress powers then it wouldn't be surprising if Sylar was on the drugs when he woke up and killed Candice. That would explain why his powers didn't work. Since it took Peter 5 days to get off the drugs then if Sylar was on the drugs he should be fine now. So it could be possible for Sylar to discover his powers work again by accident and then decide to go for a nice Honduran meal.

After a relative dry spell punctuated with Kaito's death (revisited) and HGR's death and resurrection, the Lightning Round had it's first true death: Alejandro by Sylar via dagger (Credit goes to Fba827).

Alejandro was not the only person to die this week, however, since Linda Pratt lady died on her debut episode, she does not count.

Luckily for us, "Next week, two Heroes will not survive!" So while Fba827 celebrates his victory, its time to start preparing for next week's season finally!

6) Nathan is supposed to get brain munched by Sylar.
7) Nikki is infected by the virus.
8) Mohinder is stupid and is deserving of death.
9) Parkman is turning to the darkside and is currently MIA
10) West still is creepy and is deserving of death.
11) Lyle Bennett is tired of being Mr. Muggles' secondary handler.
12) Elle is psychotic.
13) HGR wants revenge.

Well, Sylar is in New York.
...Got to think Nathan, still. He is not that big of a cast member and they can use it to further Peter's character. Plus, Sylar need to fly!
...Mohinder, too important to Sylar. Never can tell when you need a doc in a box.
...Angelina (Peter & Nathan's mom), mmmmm.
...Matt, dark side bound, don't see it.
...Adam, the battle of Hero vs Adam should be epic and see that later down the line.
...Nikki, has been replaced by a kid, who her son as bonded with, bye bye.
