The foreign environment severely slows down Zack's reaction time. If he is falling straight towards one of the creatures, he readies to take a swing as he gets close enough and then attempts to stop. If he isn't falling in the right direction, he'll attempt to change directions accordingly.

Three of the Githyanki appear to have composite longbows (Listed as B-something) while two have crossbows (listed as X-something.) They don't seem to be planning on melee in this environment, which is certainly in line with Ducane's doubts.

OOC: It takes a Wisdom check DC 16 to change direction as a free action. How 'bout a move or standard action. If we were to take the time, would we have to make a check? Or get a bonus to our check?
