Upon hearing that there is action up the rope, Theremin will climb. He asks Sayine to fly up and check that there isn't any imminent danger of him doing so.

Coriana leapt down, casting a hex on the nearest lizard and slashing at it with her sword, cutting a deep slice in its side. It hissed at her.

Mindra stepped up, but the lizard was smart. It darted behind Coriana, spoiling Mindra’s shot, and the arrow clattered against the stone.

Theremin started to climb the rope, making it most of the way to the balcony.

OOC: Since climbing is half speed, with a Dash action Theremin makes it 30’ up, so he has 10’ left to climb, which he can do on his next turn’s move. Liam will have the same unless he has another way up.


Sayine flew up and blew her green gas on the ambush drake. The beast grew glassy-eyed as the gas took effect.

Wisdom save: 1D20 = [2] = 2

OOC: I will give Liam a chance to respond and then the enemies will go.

As Liam and Theremin make their way up the rope, the kobolds reach to Coriana and Mindra. The ambush drake Coriana was attacking snaps its powerful jaws at the warlock, but she dances clear of it.

The drakes from the rest of the room rushed toward Coriana also, surrounding her and trapping her against the wall.

The armored kobold made its way cautiously forward to stand near the robed kobold on the large black table, raising his shield and carefully defending itself.

The robed kobold on the table started a hissing chant in draconic. Then it threw its hands forward and three scorching rays of fire lashed out at Mindra, who stood in the window with her bow. Two of them hit the elf, while the third goes flying off past her over the balcony. Then the kobold jumped down behind the table for cover.

OOC: Mindra takes 15 fire damage. The players are up! Kimunda has three-quarters cover (+5 AC) behind the table.

Theremin keeps climbing, happy to reach solid ground. He quickly assesses the situation and casts vicious mockery on the closest ambush drake, next to Coriana.

OOC: Happy new year! FYI, perhaps we should number the foes on the combat map because the lack of coordinates will make this confusing.
Also, I put an arrow to show where Theremin stands.

Cast Vicious mockery on the ambush drake with a small 1 next to it. Wisdom save, DC: 14, or [roll0] psychic damage and disadvantage on next attack
