Ok usually I think the items in these books are meh, but these are really fun. I dearly hope that there are a lot of Fey Magic Gifts; I love boons like that.

1) The screaming scarecrows are a great idea for an eerie scene.

2) Cockatrice have venom? I thought they just pecked you.

3) I think the Hag's Doorknob should work on horizontal surfaces.

The Fey magic gifts were my favourite. Flavourful and fun. I like the idea of boons as magic items, it works well, and it's an idea that is just starting to get tapped.

Everything I see in the previews just makes me want this book more and more. Working as intended, I suppose. I'm way more excited about this than I was about HoS (and I think this will be a better product overall).

They seem to be using boons to do some of the things rituals have been used for in the past, which to be honest I think is a big improvement.

The Feywild book is certainly looks like it may... overshadow its predecessor.

Hopefully this means that, despite the lack of ambition we've been shown in the content of the Elemental book, the content will at least be good.
