Peter has to be around. They lost one flyboy (Nathan) and I can't stand the other one (Claire's boyfriend).Darkwolf71 said:I thought season 1 should have ended with their deaths.
I have a feeling they'll both be around for awhile though.
I actually like the fuedal Japan story arc. But then I'm a suckah for all things samurai. I'm not exactly Japanese but my Asian blood appeals to it and their concept of honor. I do feel it is more like a Western tragic-tone story than one written by Japanese national.Season 2... felt pretty much like a waste of time to me. There was the Nikki/Micah non-storyline, the twins/sylar non-storyline, dragged out feudal japan, bottomless pits of stupidity.

I was perhaps less clear than I meant to be - I liked it in principle and in parts, I just felt it went on rather too long.
Of course, there some wacky new power ramifications added this time - like how Claire's/Adam's blood is able to bring back to life even someone who has been shot in the head. Presumably this means that shooting them in the head won't actually kill them, because the blood in the rest of their body will regenerate them again.
One wonders why the company had Adam in a prison cell and were not milking him for his blood all the time. Who wouldn't want to have massive blood banks of resurrection fluid around all the time?
This seems to me like something that was introduced as a power ramification without being fully thought through, really.
Cheers
