Heroes Season [Volume] 2 (#24)---9/24/07-'Four Months Later'

I can't believe they Mr. Sulu! I was realy hoping he would end up being Kensai. The episode annoyed me though. What the hell is wro ng with Peter? Since when could shoot force bolts? and why does he have no memory of who he is? West straight up sucks. He's the worst character I've seen in a while. Creepy flying stalker kid just isn't cool. I have this odd feeling that he's going to try and kill all the "robots" and I don't think thats the vibe a creator would want to give a main characters love interest so I'm thinking he's aplant.

Peter's mind has obviously been wiped by the Haitian in an attempt to stablize Peter and remove access to his radioactive power. Or potentially even for some other reason. That's why the Haitian's necklace with the "hero" symbol is around his neck when we see him in the container.

It has been four months since the explosion. In the 4 weeks previous to that, we saw Peter absorb - what - 8 or 9 powers? Not counting all of the OTHER powers he should have absorbed that Sylar knew. I think it's fairly safe to assume that in the intervening period, Peter ran into at least one other Hero who can shoot lightning or something else.

Peter's empathy seems to require him to think - at least for some powers - in order to activate them, For passive powers, like healing and perhaps even his super strength - they just "work". I admit, it's hard to judge the radioactivity of Ted as a passive power - but - there it is.

But it's also pretty clear he won't do anything in an offensive manner very aptly if he has no idea to even try to use it other than by reflex. Hence, the mindwipe.

It is also possible that Peter's mind has been wiped to prevent **someone else** from gaining access to something Peter knows or from discovering where he is. Can Molly find someone who does not even know who he is? Maybe - and then again - maybe not. Same applies to "the Boogeyman".

We know that Peter was Mohinder's friend. Mohinder would not have passed up the chance to use Molly to find Peter. So Mohinder, Bennett and Parkman already know where he is - or they do not know any longer because of the mindwipe.

Seeing as the initial Season 1 took place over about four weeks, four months is a long time and who knows what Peter, the Haitian and Hiro and whoever else managed to cook up in that time.

Also, there were about 3 or 4 Sylar powers that we never discovered, it could be any of those. Sylar had a main offensive power and possibly never had the need to use it.

I got the impression during Nathans mirror scene that he has a "evil twin" (his brother) just like Nikki with Jessica. (I am not sure if it is really "evil")

My theory why this happened:
Nikki's Jessica was not Nikkis power, but Jessicas. When she died, she could somehow "possess" her sister (for the lack of a better word). The power might not transfer the full person, only its negative side...
When Peter absorbed Nikkis Strength, he also absorbed Jessicas "posessioning" power.
When Peter exploded, he died - until Claires Regeneration power sprung in. But this short moment was enough to trigger Jessicas power, and transfering his mind into Nathans.

Well, too complicated? Maybe. But since just one single episode got me to think so much about it, I guess that's a good thing (and a good show :) ).

I haven't seen any one post about the latin kids running through the jungle. I really want to find out what her power is, and if her brother's power is to counter hers or does she just panic and unleash her power. I thought they were putting a lot of emphasis on them staying near each other, so I am leaning towards the former.

My prediction is that the brother doesn't have any powers at all, he just tries to keep her safe. Her power I think might be some kind of sonic power. When the smugglers attempted to rape her in the cab of the truck, she screamed which unleashed the power and killed everyone in the truck.

Well, the online comic strongly implies that the brother is in some way an "antiserum" for the sister. But I guess we'll see how it develops.

From the online comic and what they said in the show, I think it is clear that she spreads a virus and that her brother keeps her from "going nova" and spreading it again. Whatever the virus is has to be pretty nasty stuff to kill that entire truck (100% lethal) in a matter of minutes or hours.

So now the whole push last season to get to New York is almost a desire to keep her out of NY. If she shows up and her brother gets killed...bye bye Broadway, hello Andromeda Strain.

Unfortunately, that is assuming that Sylar doesn't take her powers first.

But, "evolutionary imperative" notwithstanding, I don't think this is a power Sylar would WANT to have, unless he can also absorb and control the brothers negating power, thus giving the virus to whoever he feels like. Otherwise, he's simply an uncontrollable carrier, wiping out everything in his path. Is Sylar's goal to destroy the world? If not, he might want to pass on this one.

But Sylar has a skill for learning how to control a power, probably better than the original person.

If I"m correct, Sylar still has nuclear power and seemed to gain more ocontrol over it in the few hours he had it than theoriginal nuke guy did all season.

This power would be right up Sylar's alley. His goal is to take powers, especially from those ungrateful ones who have power and don't want it. Both of these could just be set pieces though with sylar eventually taking the girl's powers and peter having the cure.

Or.............

ewwwwwwwwww vice versa.

Yeah, I'd have to agree with you, but remember his main power is to see how things work which makes him able to instantly figure out how to control the powers he gains. Therefore, he would not become a walking plague and instead might use the plague to test which super powered individuals are worthy of survival so that he could prey upon them on a later date.

That is assuming he doesn't try to breed super powered individuals so that he could harvest stronger powers at in the future (if he manages to find someone who had the power of longevity).

DonTadow beat me to posting one of my points.. damn my slow typing.
