Heroes Season [Volume] 2 (#25)---10/01/07-'Lizards'

A drink magically slides down the bar and into his hand as he appears visible.

It's not a video, just an animated gif. You can easily see if if you can see, say, the little earth and warning icons in the bottom-left corner of this post.

Ah, yes, I saw it. Looks certainly like telekinesis, though theoretically he _could_ have taken the glass while invisible, than set down and then took the glass like he did. But the flow of movement doesn't make a lot of sense..

On the other hand, it was a Peter a few years in the future, and it was a tiny scene. I am not sure if we can count this as conclusive proof, since screw-ups in such scenes are always possible. But it definitely puts a dent into the theory of "one power at a time" constraint...

Or maybe Peter can only absorb Sylar's 'natural' power. Just the knowing how things work part.
I think he wouldn't have telekinesis, if this was the case, because AFAWK he's never come into contact with the Davis character. I think he was thinking about Sylar and what he did at the high school, and that power was the one he saw. At that time--and this is the reason for his overload, too--he needed to think about the person to use the power.
Since the others are gotten by some other process, perhaps those couldn't be taken.
Maybe we'll get to see them in later episodes.
Stupid part to me is, if somebody was gonna mindwipe Peter they better put him somewhere they don't much care for since he should still have Ted's nuclear power and is still just as likely to go nova again for whatever reason. I mean, do youu steal the knowledge of something like that from somebody but leave them with the means to do it accidentally? When his knowledge of it was requisite for him to strive against the big boom. (Not that he was able to stop it in the end, but...) Unless of course, they were somehow able to take Ted's power away from him. Or (speculation), the 'new' electrical power is Ted's power at a different wavelength somehow because the big boom used up alot of the charge. Maybe he works his way up through energy levels like the firebenders in Avatar (fire, electricity, then radiation, etc
This is an interesting idea, but I still think that Peter was just way too angsty before, thinking, "I'm doomed to blow up New York!", and so he did. Without his mind in the way, his body knew that the "hot" radiation would destroy him, and used something between that and the "bright" radiation that Noah had Ted use when they were captives.

ARRRGGGHH!! DVR issues! :(

I finally got around to watching last week's episode, and the DVR cut out at the end. I saw where Claire noticed West spying on her (during toe experiment) and then she ran outside. Then the recording stopped. Did I miss anything? (Besides the preview for tonight?)

I have since set the DVR to record for two minutes past "end time" for Heroes. :p

Same thing happened to me...did it get a late start or something?

Yeah, I started to do that, before I decided to tape Journeyman (which I have set to go 1 minute later).

All you missed was Claire running outside and looking for West. While she's looking around the dog is looking up in the air. She doesn't notice this.

Then you have scenes for next week.

Not to worry. You didn't miss anything but a dramatic pan-out, some dun-dun-DUNN music, and a "To be continued". And Mr Muggles barking, I think…

But I've had that same problem, too...I've got it set to record 15 minutes past the posted end-time. But I've got Comcast's propietary DVR, not TiVo, so my DVR really sucks, and it's better safe than sorry...

Thanks for the info.

I never had a problem with my DVR (Time Warner) cutting out early during Heroes (either last season or episode 1 this year). I did get a new dvr a few weeks ago, but episode 1 was fine. Maybe it's a network ploy to get people to watch the shows "live" when they air....

The Time Warner DVR boxes seem to keep time a bit inaccurately. I think setting it for two extra minutes should do the trick.

Slight addition. mr muggles was looking up when she was barking. Kinda of irked me that Clair wouldn't look up too.
