Just exactly how did the three Irish thieves plan on transporting an entire shipping container full of ipods? They didn't even have a wheelbarrow! (Extra-dimensional pockets, maybe?)

Let's see, I find a half naked guy chained to the inside of a shipping container. So naturally, he must have been the one who stole its contents!?!?!? WTF?

They really need to pay a bit more attention to this sort of thing.

I didn't have a problem with that since I assumed they had a truck waiting and that the three of them were basically scouting ahead before bringing in the truck (or the loader that appeared in the scene's establishing shot) in and taking off with the ipods.

Also, as far as they knew, peter COULD have helped steal the container's contents but ended up being stripped, knocked out and chained to the container's wall (although from a ganger's perspective it would make more sense to chain him to the container's wall THEN kill him so that he doesn't go to the police if he is lucky enough to be discovered live).

But, was it just me or are the heroes acting like they are meeting each other for the first time. Maybe I am mixing things up from season one since it has been a while. Matt's and Nathan meeting at the station were acting like they barely knew each other. I

I suspect Nathan isn't really Nathan; it's either Candace, or Sylar (having eaten Candace), pretending to be Nathan. Wasn't there was a bit in the first episode where Nathan looked in a mirror and he saw himself horribly deformed?

That would explain why "Nathan" didn't recognize Matt. Matt, I think, is just playing coy; he also pretended not to know Ando, probably in order to not complicate his life as a new NYPD detective.

I'd forgotten that there were two different pilots. As far as I'm concerned, Claire had a finger cut off by the garbage disposal, so the whole 'cut off a toe' thing was silly.

Am I the only one who notices this stuff:

Hiro: "How could this happen?" After Kensai gets shot by several arrows. That's what I want to know! Since landing back in time he's showed mastery of his powers. But this time he justs stands there like a doofus and does nothing, even after the first arrow hits Kensai. He had tons of time to do something (pun not intended), but didn't.

Yeah, these things I was wondering about, especially the second. My first thought would be that someone lied about the contents, not that the chained up guy I saw was the one who stole them. Yeah, that's what I'd do if I were a thief: steal the contents, then return to the scene of the crime and chain myself inside the container.

Actually, this never crossed my mind, but it wouldn't have until they would have actually opened the case and seen tons of ipods.

Well, "no honor among thieves" and all that, one could speculate that Peter's gang, after finishing the iPod heist, did that to him. Not entirely far-fetched, anyway.

In one of the threads last season, I suggested that "Jessica" wasn't a schism of Nichole's personality at all, but the actual projection of Jessica's spirit into Nichole's body. Someone had the same idea last week, applying it to Peter's "death" by megaton explosion. Nathan got away in time to not be burned, but Peter "died" and the power he absorbed from Nikki wasn't just her strength, but Jessica's projection ability, as well. "Dead" Peter jumped inside Nathan's mind, but apparently the body came back to life, and Peter was then either mindwiped by the Haitian or his psyche actually left, to a large extent, so no memory of the last four months, or anything, really.
Nathan did see a horribly-burned Peter staring back at him, and he does from time to time, hence his not being a senator, and living out of a bottle.
Now for the kicker.
"Dead" Peter is projecting out and either materializing to destroy the Old-schoolers, or manifesting telekinesis to do something physical. Nathan has no idea, really, what is happening, but is experiencing blackouts when Peter goes into action.
A possibility that just occurred to me, given Jessica's MO of acting when Nikki's in trouble, is that "Dead" Peter is not coming out of Nathan at all, but is using Nathan's flight and several of his own powers that are strictly mentally-operated to act on Nathan's subconscious revenge-fantasies.
Other Things.
I can handwave the Nathan and Matt not really knowing each other, because any meeting they had was necessarily brief, it's four months after that, and they've both had a lot of upheavals.
Mohinder never met the Haitian, until the virus-curing.
Conjecture: Mohinder has a power, a weaker variant of Alejandro's and Linderman's. He said last season that sometimes babies are born with the antibodies their siblings need. Even a distillation of Mohinder's blood shouldn't work on anyone not related to him in the strictest sense, unless he, too, is special.
In one of the pre-season teasers, Hiro flat-out says that Kensei has power, too.

Hiro has not mastered his powers, and still makes mistakes. It is quite possible that he was startled enough that he just couldn't react in a good way. I think that Hiro and Kensei are, together, the root of the Takezo legend. Hiro has only recently lost his love, so Kensei can have her, and seems to want her. Hiro can provide many of the feats attributed to the legendary hero, and Takezo has some sort of power that may come in handy, that way, too.

I think the ipod heist was a bad tip for idiot thieves, and Peter was intended to be found. The reason he could use his powers so easily and fluidly in the bar fight was the same reason that martial artists, dancers, musicians, and anyone with any sort of natural gift, get to the point that using any part of that gift is like breathing, after awhile. Without his psyche and angst interfering in the process, his body just used what was there to be used. This has been referred to as accessing the "hindbrain", or "the lizard mind". Anybody that knows better, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think those two appellations refer to the combination of the medula oblongata and the hypothalamus.

Takezo's power will allow him to literally cut out his heart and give it to the dragon.

Apparently they are going with the official pilot so it's not neccessarily silly for them considering they are the ones making the timeline and they established that the mangled hand one is the right one. This is also the one that got the most publicity for the show and the most familiar one.

We don't know what they had off camera. Sure the director could have done some shots of a truck and equipment but that wasn't necessary. As far as I summized, the ipods were suppose to be in boxes and they were going to carry 3 boxes off each. Think about it, a box of ipods would be about 10k retail a piece. That's a nice haul for a thief.

There were a couple of reason why why I don't think hiro used his powers. One, I think it happened just that fast. We've also seen hiro hesitate when he's not prepared. I'm willing to disbelieve that for the fact that I know that they can't possibly have hiro use his power all the time for everything or the show would get lame.

Peter locked up needed a converstion scene. I just guessed that they thought that Peter was apart of the crew that hijacked the ipods, something happened and they chained him up inside.
