Hiro: "How could this happen?" After Kensai gets shot by several arrows. That's what I want to know! Since landing back in time he's showed mastery of his powers. But this time he justs stands there like a doofus and does nothing, even after the first arrow hits Kensai. He had tons of time to do something (pun not intended), but didn't.

Well, "no honor among thieves" and all that, one could speculate that Peter's gang, after finishing the iPod heist, did that to him.
