Heroes Season [Volume] 2 (#25)---10/01/07-'Lizards'

When it was strongly suggested powers are hereditary I wanted to do a family tree. I'm not so sure it can be done with Hiro bumping people around and people having abnormally long lifespans which both been suggested to happen.

Good Episode over all. But, was it just me or are the heroes acting like they are meeting each other for the first time. .

Maybe the Haitian / Company at work. Maybe the secret Illuninati group (Peter, Nathan and Hiro's folks) have a mindbender also.

The possibilities are endless. Thus why it is so much fun.

Are you suggesting that Peter is a plant? I really think that people (Nathan, et al.) think he is dead. While his memory loss is suggestive of the Hatian, especially the necklace, I don't know that HRG was involved.

By the way, women with Irish accents are the best!

!

I have not seen the second episode. I have no TV and only saw the DVD set and the opening show by accident last Saturday at a friends house.

Based on what I have seen and read there is a lot more powerful groups in the background manipulating everyone and in some cases history also. Some of these groups have been exposed but we know little about.

The Company
Seems to be largely "normals" that use metahumans to control other metahumans. Why has not been truely exposed. Not even sure if it is a government program or private.

The Illuninati (Peter, Nathan and Hiros parents)
Metahumans using their powers to manipulate the world.

Ledderman
He seems to have connections with both groups and it would not surprise me if me shows up alive (healer type)

Government (s)
Other than avoiding the obvious... where is the government powers in this? They would be involved even if it is just investigating a flood of gold on the market.

so many possibilities.....

Nice to see the Haitian again. I notice that about half of the blurb is wrong. You'd think they'd have fixed that by now. Anyway, why did Cliare cut off her toe? she already knows it'll grow back. We saw that in what, episode one or two? Sheesh! Appearently the only reason for it was so Peeping Tom could see it. So why did he run? Oh yeah, he's a Peeping Tom!
I don't think that was what we saw in episode 1. What we saw was her put her hand in the dishwasher and it get all mangled. This was a literal severing of a limb.

[sblock=spoilers?]OMG!! I just got this! At the end of the legend when Kensai has to pay the dragon for training him...he cuts out his own heart to give it to the dragon! Totally possible if he regenerates like Clair! Not to mention some of the battles against hundreds of opponents that I assumed Hiro would have to fight in slow motion! If Kensai can just heal and keep coming then he's safe as long as he never takes a shot in the brain.[/sblock]

[sblock]After it ended last night, about ten or twenty minutes later, I stopped...thought about the heart thing, and almost laughed out loud.

Its perfect. His power should have been obvious.[/sblock]

Not to mention that the title of the episode WAS plural. So we have Claire AND Kensai of course.

And I loved how they left Nathan as the most obvious possible killer last episode just knowing that we'd be assuming it was him now. So of course they show the next attempted killing while he is in the presence of Matt so that there can be no question that it's somebody else now. This time it seems as though Claude would be the perfect match.

Loved seeing Peter cut loose some, thereby destroying the theory that he has to remember and think of each person in order to use their powers. Looks like they are all on autopilot now. He gets them when he needs them.

Yet another great episode. This season is gonna rock!

I agree that any of the heroes from last season not recognizing each other is weird, since they all met in the last ep. Heck, even if Nathan doesn't remember a particular face since he was focused on Claire and Peter, everyone else at least should remember the guy who flew up with his brother in the sky to save New York.
As to Nathan not recognizing Matt, that seems pretty obvious, Nathan had a whole 'nother focus, a brother about to explode.

As to Matt not recognizing Nathan, remember that Nathan showed up at the last minute, was facing away from Matt -- who'd just taken 3 bullets to the chest, and probably wasn't focused on much of anything -- and Nathan now has a full beard. It would stun me if he did recognize him.
