On Peter blowing up, what makes folks think his body was in any way harmed by the explosion? Remember when Ted was going nuclear in the Bennett family's house? As he was blowing out enough energy to burn Claire's skin away, nothing bad was happening to him. He wasn't burned or anything.

Indeed, it didn't even damage his clothing, did it?

What a specific power he has.
