D&D 5E Herolab with 5e SRD---worth it or too stripped down?

Hey Everyone,
Getting dragged away from Pathfinder into 5e. I have been using Herolab for character creation, and have generally enjoyed it. As I stick my pinky toe into 5e, I am worried that the SRD dataset that WoTC has allowed Herolab to use will be too limited for good character optimization. I like to Min/Max a little, but not to the point of undermining a reasonable PC life story.

Any thoughts? Has anyone delved into Herolab with 5e yet? I know it has only been officially release for a few days---but I bet there are a few of us who have already worked it over top to bottom! :p

It's pretty lite. I don't know if I could recommend it as a replacement for pen-and-paper given the absence of all feats and most subclasses. It might be better for DMs at the moment (doubly so when the monster designer and encounter builder get added).

Once some of the content gets filled out by the community, it'll be much better. That's likely a matter of weeks away, so it's only a matter of time. So... soon.

You would have me make do with... (gasp!) pen and paper(!) What do you think I am? A Barbarian?!?

Oh, hey. That gives me an idea for a PC...

Seriously---thanks and... Dang.
