Just a quick note to let you all know I haven't fallen off the face of the earth yet. My wife, daughter and I left our son in Maryland and have moved back home to Southern Illinois. My wife had a job offer back here with the VA /
(Veteran's Administration) and so we found a house and packed up. Simple huh?
However, the house fell through about a week before we left. so we have been homeless since December 23rd. (Well only officially, we are actually living in my mother's garage.) Three houses and two real estate agents later we are hoping fourth time is a charm. Eventually we plan on purchasing land an just building, but that's a few years (4 or 5) in the future.
In the meantime I've been working part time for True Adventures (the folks that bring you True Dungeon). Who knew they were based in the middle of nowhere? But it's been nice. Internet access has been nearly non existent due to my step-father being in college. (They have download and access limits on their internet service - which sucks after having unlimited everything). So I have been having to moderate my usage to ensure he can do his work-group homework assignments with his lab partners.
I can't tell when I'll be back on line for good, but hopefully it will be sometime soon. 'Til then I'll just pop in on occasion and keep you all up to date. Hopefully I can have some material for metal school up by then too.
