I didn't realise that "Merric" was one of the halfling names in the PHB. So, it is: interesting. It's hardly the most common spelling of the name (Merrick tends to see a lot more play, and I'm heartily sick of people misspelling my name that way).

Shows you how much I play halflings, huh?

Still, at 5'9", I'm more "dwarf" next to some of my extremely tall friends rather than "halfling".

I got to play Merric 10 days ago during a playtest of the 16th encounter of the season. He was a lot of fun to play, I should have tried to throw daggers more often rather than getting into melee with the big bad. It was fun to get the chance to play an essentials character for the first time.
