Any juicy details??? Is it compatable with D20 Future or is it your own new system? When is it being released?

It's based on the item design and creation rules found in my Blood and Circuits book (and is in fact a supplement for that book). You don't need B&C to use this book, though there are things you will be able to do if you have both that you can't just do with the cybernetics book.

For example B&C has firearm and computer design rules. If you have both B&C and the cybernetics book you could design a gun or a computer and install it as a piece of cyberware.

It's not the same system as d20F, its something of my own design. I didnt care for negative levels as a way to balance cybernetics so I'm using feats to balance them instead. You take a feat called Cybersocket, which allows you to install a certain amount of equipment as a cybernetic attachment.

How much equipment depends on the Progress Level and how prevalent cybernetics is in the campaign.

The book covers PLs 3-9 and breaks each PL into a Low, Medium or High cybernetics environment, allowing the GM a lot of control over the prevalence and power of cybernetics in his game.

For those of you scratching your head and asking what cybernetics is doing in PLs earlier than 6, I'll tell you what. I looked at fiction and found PL 3 Clockwork cybernetics (Hellboy being a big example), in PL 4 you could have Steampunk-style cybernetics and of course PL 5 would have the beloved and fondly remembered (by me anyway) 6 million dollar man.

In PLs 3-5 only High Cybernetics campaigns will feature cybernetics at all. In other words, either the GM has decided to include cybernetics as a form of FX in those games, or it doesn't show up at all.

That said, anyone familiar with Blood and Circuits could make any item found in d20F with its design rules, so the two books are not mutually exclusive.

Edit: As for when it will be released, I believe the projection is October 1st. Basically my draft is done and submitted. So how long depends on editing time, any art required, any changes or additions asked for by the boss, etc.

Stop making great products! Your stuff is eating up all my gaming money. :heh:

I just bought Legends of the Dark Ages and a couple of the Legends of the Samurai pdf's, and they are all tops. I plan on using both for historical games and it looks like there is plenty of material in each of them.

If you want even more of the Legends drug, don't forget to puck up Legends of Excaibur!

It is outstanding.

A lot of folks expect Dark Ages to follow the pattern of Excalibur and Samurai (player's book, GM book) Im not sure it will, at least its not part of my plan right now.

Hope (pray is more like), rather than expect.

You can't release a drug that good and not expect an addict to want more!

Duh!

So are you looking at a September or post-Spetember release? I may delay my RPG Now order if it's coming out in September

I believe the projected release date is October 1st.

Well my idea was that people already know how to run games set in medieval Europe. I am working on a town sourcebook/adventure/mini-GM guuide for Dark Ages even as we speak however :)

Will there be any plugging in of D20 Future or Apocalypse into Darwin's World 2 upcoming or planned releases?
I know that d20 Apoalypse is not now (and I have no idea if it will ever be) in the MSRD; so that's a 'no'.
