Hey, what about Taladas!?

I agree with just about everything you people have said about DL (except for that person who completely wasted his time typing nonsense), but what about Taladas?

If you're not familiar, Taladas is the continent in which NOTHING was written about. We're talkin' physically scaled-down, refined minotaurs with Roman flair, sublime kenders (to some people, that's a wet dream), renagade wizards up the arse just to name a few. I love the feel that Ansalon gives. It's just that, well..., there's a rest of the world too.

All in all, I hope the authors do it justice.

I was under the impression that several supplements have been written about Taladas. At the very least, there's Taladas. And, though I'm not sure, I think Otherlands was set around there, as well.

Anyway, someone will be along shortly to confirm or repudiate my assumptions.

i hope they use the rest of the world as a blatant way to market completley unrelated material. i also hope that they punch me in the stomach.

when you say dragonlance what you mean is ansalon, passing anything else off as dragonlance is like kicking me in the jewels and taking my wallet, except that i do not have to replace my identification and cancell my credit cards, and the pain is in my heart not my crotch. I'm sure taladas was well intentioned (i hope it was at least) and at the point where they have recieved enough e-mails regarding the forgotten continent ( didn't the knights of thakasis have some blue guys with them from taladas in dragons of summer flame?) they will come out with a sourcebook for it.

i hope that they do not recieve any and can populate the continent as they see fit at this current time.

I do hope that the new Dragonlance gets sourcebooks for Taladas, and perhaps a reprint of some of the Otherlands info as well.

I loved Taladas - but decided to use it with my FR campaign instead. The Minotaur Empire, Thenol and Hitehkel are particularly fascinating...

I love Taladas - it's by far my favorite setting TSR pit out. I hope Sovereign Press ignores it completely.

Not that I doubt the ability of the Sovereign guys, but it's a very different feel from Ansalon, and IMO every time the two have been mixed in the past, much suckiness ensued.

IIRC, Tracy Hickman has a personal dislike of Taladas, so I'm hoping it'll be glossed over.

While our initial product plans do not include an in-depth look at Taladas, we certainly have not forgotten the other continent either. d20 System product set in Taladas is not outside the realm of possibility!
