I used to check out this site ALL the time, back before it changed formats. Used to post alot but i guess they delete inactive accounts after a while (been about a year). I even met one of my first players through this website way back then. Anyway, im back into DnD big again. Work got in the way for a while. Heres looking forward to many posts again in the future. Looking through the posts, angelsboi is the only name i still recognize (damn hes been around for a while). Hope to get to know some of you and hope i can throw out some good ideas in the process.

Heh, im in the Air force. Your tax dollars hard at work. I work Electronic Warfare which is the chaff/flare system (keeps plane from getting shot down) and since we arent at war they dont need us very often so i dont do much.

Electronic Warfare? Cool! I'll do my basic military training (starting in January) with an electronic warfare batallion myself...

Do you know of any good websites that explain the basics of electronic warfare?

Cant think of any websites but i can try to explain it in terms that all of us should have no problem understanding. Think of EW as counterspells. Someone launches an attack and we do something to stop the attack from doing any harm. Wether this be to stop a missle or to scramble the radar return so that they cant get a lock on, there are many ways that EW can help. They can make 3 planes look like 10 on a radar screen or vise versa. Can change the elevation that enemy radar has us at or we can straight up blanket their radar so they cant see anything.
