New feat: High status

Status: A character get an extra + 2* level to diplomacy (or others) rolls made to get help/positive answer from people who recognize her status and care about eventual refusal consequences (ex: to get hospitality from the wary peasant, aware there are werewolfs lurking around). Ex: level 12 duke Elron get a +24 bonus.

DMs rule determines if titles are gifts or must be taken as a feat.

Feat bonuses should never depend on what level you are. Also, just having it level times two is way to high. Maybe a bonus of half your level.

??? A feat should give some advantage. A level 20 character doesn't need a +10 to diplomacy to get hospilatily from a commoner!

My feat means the vassals give help to their betters... not usable to calm monsters or more covenient usage of diplomacy!

Huh? If he doesn't need +10 to get help, why is your feat given him +40 to get that same help?

I think this would be better reflected in circumstance bonuses, not a feat. Besides, to get that type aof help all a person needs to do is put points in Diplomancy, simple enough.

You might look at the reputation system such as exists in Star Wars RPG or Wheel of Time rpg. Each class gets a certain number of reputation points per level, which become a bonus for communication skills in certain situations.

It might be a better solution for what you're looking for. And it might not.

It's not reputation: a noble may be a ruin as a reputation and still his subjects will HAVE TO be fair with him...

high status <> reputation <> charisma <> a
ppereance, voice, sex appeal

You have soem of these reputation rules handy ?

As was said you can find them in one of the Dragons or in Star Wars, and ther ecould be other books that have them as well.

Faded Suns D20 has a set of Social feats which are excellently crafted and provide a variety of bonuses of this type/style.
