Highlander: The Source

That's nifty. Honestly, I'll believe it when I see it, but I'm willing to hope that this movie will actually be good. Unlike, well, any of the others. *sheepish grin*

Loved the TV series, but found all the movies disappointing after the first one. And the first one is only good in a weird way.

I have no expectation for this movie, that I won't go see. Although I liked the TV show, I found the movies (2, 3, and 4) awful. I cannot believe that the fifth one would be a good one.

Actually the fourth one was almost tolerable.

Almost.

A few beers/illicit/prescription drugs in various combinations could make it almost enjoyable.

Almost.

Or maybe it was just the level of horridness was so much less than 2 & 3. Like how no matter how bad your love life, it still looks pretty darn good next to the guy in Seattle who died by having anal sex with a horse (true story).

Which would about sum out how anyone who paid to see Highlander 2 was treated by the movie studio that put it out.

I so want this to be the film that Highlander fans deserve to see after suffering through so many bad ones.

Personally, I didn't think that Highlander needed a sequel; the original movie wrapped up the story quite nicely. And the overall crappiness of the sequels have done nothing to change this opinion.
