I of course think that any company would be lucky to have her. I'd hire her myself if I could afford employees.

I don't know that it would have any effect on the decision-making processes at Wizards of the Coast, but I'm all for Linae being hired back at WotC (assuming she desires the position, of course). She always seemed to be knowledgeable and definitely cool under fire. WotC needs classy, smart folk like her.

Who in their right minds would even want to work at WotC?

It's not like there's any job security.

Just like everywhere else. I was downsized or re-organized at three companies before coming to "this" company 11+ years ago. Two buyouts, one spin off between, a major re-org and three layoffs and I'm still here, unlike many others I have worked with or near.

If you can make a living doing something you enjoy, do it as long and often as you can.

(Linae rocks, thought I'd add that.)
