No ... no ... tell me it's not true. Tell me there isn't really a D20 version of Thomas the Tank Engine! :)

Weeell, Steam & Steel will include rules for steam trains... including rules for what happens if they hit something, like a dragon lying on the tracks... (bet Thomas the Tank Engine never hit a dragon or had reinforced armour plating :) ).

Edit:The word steamworks refers to far more than just steam trains though. The book includes deadly constructs (including one with 100 HD designed for destroying castles (!) ), wierd and wonderful devices (from steamwork armour to arcanomech eyes and even prosthetics) and things like that :).

Ah great, now I have an image of a 'helpless' dragon tied to the tracks, while some evil villain with curled moustaches laughs and capers about...

Hi Morbidity, welcome aboard :)

and Steampunk rocks - if its Thomas the Tank Engine then its TtTE on PCP  (I'm just excited because my Iron Kingdoms Character Primer should arrive this week)

Already got my IK character primer. It's pretty decent, and I like the IK races. I wish they'd expanded the firearms rules a bit though.

ROFL ... now all my serious work colleagues are giving me strange and slightly scared looks.

TOPIC:The merrits of english ale versus american beer/discuss

That's not a discussion, as English beer is inherently superior :D

Only joking. My favourite beer (Stella Artois) is french, so who am I to talk?

What about a helpless dragon tied to the locomotive, being poked with sticks so he keeps heating the boiler?

All I have to say is that in the Lonely Planet guide to the UK, it gives warnings about English ale. Aussie beer all the way!

Hmmm...Tunbridge Wells. You're not too far from where I used to live in Haywards Heath, near Crawley. How's it going down in Sussex? :)

I tend to stick to nice, safe lagers. Not really an ale sort of person. And definitely not Guiness.
