Some guy attached 42 weather ballons to his lawnchair and couldn't get down, he flew over LAX according the urban myth. It was big on the internet and even made the Darwin Awards, though he lived.

I think I saw a video on that.. wait..

It wasn't weather balloons, it was regular party balloons, and it was like 300-400 balloons.
