[HIVEMIND] Creatures of the Night!

That is rough but think of this way- they think highly enough of you to talk to you.

In high school I was less than popular. When I went to college several classmates went there also. About a month into it, one of these people came to me in tears after breaking up with her boyfriend. She trusted me to comfort her and not try anything beyond that.

At the time I was quite taken back by this until I reliezed this ment she trusted me and considered me a friend dispite peer pressure. It's all how you look into it.

Hope your friend isn't in too deep of trouble.

She had a severe panic attack as she recalled an attack on her person, rape, from a few years back that she was repressing. It was a gift that I got her that set her off, but that's something I feel guilty for. So, now I'm doing so research on things I can do to help her.

ouch.

Been there.

In college I was an RA and had to work with a resident that had this issue (by parent and brother which made it harder to deal with). You will find yourself walking on pins and needles questioning everything you want to say before saying it. Go slow, let her set the pace is about all I can recommend at this point.

The toughest part is I'm not there for here. She doesn't live near me anymore and as much as I'd love to drop everything around here to take a trip to make sure she's okay, I can't just forgo all my responsibilities here to do so.

And then my computer chair just broke and I think I pulled my back. I sat down in it and the back rest snapped off so I hit the floor Awkwardly.

Oh what a day.....:(
