Okay, here's the story behind the quote.. as Fidgit mentioned we made the waitress very uncomfortable.. or more aptly I did.

We had a tradition of going to lunch before or during our sunday game sessions for awhile. Usually we frequented one of the 100 steak places down the road.

On this particular Sunday we were at the Lonestar steakhouse. We'd been seated and were ordering our food. The waitress didn't look happy to be working, but she seemed to have a good attitude. The food came, most of us were not real happy, but no one really made a big issue of it. She took one of the steaks back to have it cooked more, and everything progressed okay from there.

Understand we're generally very jovial when in public as a group. On one of her numerous refills to give MR. Fidgit another Diet, I noticed a mounted fish placed above the bar. To this day I'm not quite sure why, but I looked over at her, and in a serious tone I said "You know, fish are evil." Needless to say this reference had not logical origin for her so she just sort of stuttered a second, gathered herself and disappeared very quickly.

Her reaction is what made the whole thing funny, so the group of us just lost it for a few minutes.. I don't remember if she ever came back when it was time to serve the check, but I know she looked at me very strangely the rest of the time we were there.

The quote has evolved a bit.. I kinda took it as a schtickt and ran with it.. absorbing biblical humor from british commedian Eddie Izzard, a quote from Clerks the Animated series.. and some other odd statements to back up the statement.
