Steve, I know that I've probably asked this before(seeing as how I don't remember most of my 2 years at college, it's not that bad to forget little things like this), but I'll ask again: Do you have a regular gaming group? More people left today, so more farewell cake … hmmmm there’s some left over. I do believe it’s calling my name. If I don’t eat it, it will just go stale. So what if I’ve already had 3 pieces. Which is more important … maintaining my trendy waif look or sacrificing myself so that the heinous crime of stale cake will not occur?

That's the way, Morbidity. I feel the same way about the half a pizza that's still sitting on my table. Who cares if I got it last night, it's still good, it's still good!
Actually, I was once told by an old friend from school that pizza will actually still be consumable for like 18-24 hours after it's cooked with no ill effects; I'm not sure if he came to this conclusion scientifically or if it came from the fact that he had to let pizza sit out because he didn't have a fridge large enough to hold the pizza box; anybody wanna clue me in on whether I'm gonna suffer projectile vomit later for eating this?

Just heat up the pizza and eat it...nothing wrong with that at all. Of course, I find myself eating lots of leftover stuff...no ill effects though.
