The guys who sold you the bricks gave you false information and damaged or subpar goods that wer *not* suitable to the purpose they told you they could do. Can you not demand a refund/repayment/ some sort of compensation payment for the damage? Or was it a genuine mistake for which they are not liable?

ah, i see. well, i have been unable to find him since he sold me the bricks. i tried to find him the next week for more of them, but he is gone it seems :(

I'm sure that this can be turned in to a story with a moral, but it look slike it speaks for itself :(

I like to put my trust in: "what goes around, comes around", eg. if you sell dodgy bricks* then you will end up in a house made of bad bricks which suffer from damp.

On a quick side note - can someone please tell me what is the URL for Randomlings message board.

*(dodgy = faulty or not quality goods)

Commiserations ... very disappointing after all the excitement. :( And even more annoying to be in a position where you can't even claim compensation.
