It started out as a nice simple thread asking for advice. These things do happen quite a bit. I hope that lokiqc got enough information before it turned ugly.

People tend to associate characteristics of people who have been cruel to them with the cruelty. I think that has a lot to do with it. Sometimes it's hard for people to see past things like gender and just see the person inside, which is kind of the point I tried to make in the thread.
