That's cool, I post it now if you'd like.

The player did start to wonder where I was getting all these titles from... He likes to test me in that way, with things like "I look around the whole town, noting down the names of the taverns" or "what is the baker's name and his wife's and the baker's twenty sons and dughters".

Wow there are other people like me out there! I always ask for people's names etc and write them all down in my notebook along with any other info that seems interesting. It drives my DMs nuts ... mainly b/c I'm then aware of and point out DM inconsistencies.

Maldur I'm with you on the DM screen though ... I've been in lots of games where no DM screen was used. If the DM had to do a secret roll he'd put his hand in front of the die ... other than that everything is out in the open.

Fascinating. I really can't believe people don't use screens. Maybe I'm too 'old school'
