Does it freeze up or turn itself off? There's a virus going around that causes computers to turn themselves off. If it is that you may need to look into getting rid of it.

It resets, the same way as when I control-alt-delete twice. It's been going on for a long time now, but lately it's been worse. I actually did have that virus, but I got rid of it, and it was different. I think it's just stupid windows XP that's to blame.

Yeah, it only took a few days, but my mom still has some jetlag, I think the flight home was one of the only time I've gone over 24 hours without any sleep

Hit Ctrl + Alt + Del and see if MSBlast comes up under processes.
