Hivemind IC plot suggestions - MY PLAYERS OUT!

Do you have Magic of Faerun? If so, consider giving the evil wizard a spell or two from Nybor's collection (spells starting with his name). They're very appropriate for dealing with hobgoblin underlings.

He doesn't really need anything more, though:
Argun looks excellent, and a good example of an urban wizard who's not particularly looking for trouble.

OK, the PCs have so far killed one of the hobgoblins (who were paid to kidnap the kobolds and deliver them to the house) and intimidated the other for information. One (the dead one) was carrying a letter which gave some information about "draconicus spell", "refinement process", "two more kobolds" and money.

I'm waiting till everyone is in the same place, then Merrith is going to show up in a righteous fury."WHO ARE ALL THE$SE PEOPLE IN MY HOUSE?!"

Merrith must be getting desperate -- he's been content to wait for "juice" before, why not now? Is the war with the Nerezi interfering with their "payments"?

Perhaps he's grown tired of the arrangement. Make sure that the party knows he's pissed at something bigger than them.

OK, I'm just coming to the point where the wizard is about to enter (Listen check of DC 10 for the goblin to hear him coming down the street from a bit of a distance, so far).

How is he going to enter? How will he react to, so far:

One of the hobgobs he hired lying dead on the floor, the other tied up with a crowd of people around him which includes the two kobolds he hired them to kidnap, and his apprentice.

His front door smashed in.

100GP missing from the money pouch he gave the apprentice to give to the hobgobs (he's going to blame the apprentice for this).

How am I going to play this?

Honestly I don't know what you're asking. He's angry, he feels betrayed, he's suspicious of a conspiracy -- he's going to be wondering who these people are, and for how long his apprentice planned to double-crossed him.
