Yeah, I was thinking about that ratio myself yesterday. My story hour is much more 'story' than combat, so I hope it entertains some.
I've reached that cool point, though, where I'm only really writing for my players and myself. If others read it cool, but if not, I'm not gonna despair.
It's funny. None of my players read my Story Hour. I have a "Campaign Journal" on the Barsoom website where I jot down a brief summary of what happened last session, but it's more a venue for me to make snarky remarks at their expense and amuse myself with clever wordplay than an actual story.
They don't even know I'm writing this Story Hour. I just had this image of Ilonka and her friends seeing the party for the first time and it got my brain going and before I knew it I was writing this little story. It's based on what happened in the campaign but isn't faithful to each and every detail.
I don't know why but I don't want them to read it. Weird.
Silly weather. It was hot and humid Saturday, then it turned around and was sleeting yesterday. Some of my friends were working the Rennaissance Faire both days, they were miserable. I told them too many witches were casting weather spells without conferring with one another.
