You should be careful of friends of Carnifexes. How anyone can befriend a creature with great scything talons, white hot bile vomit, a chitinous carapace, and a never-ending hunger is beyond me

Carnifex, being attached to such an archaeological team sounds fine to me. Cazamir would easily fall into the role of a mercenary, especially if travel was involved. He's looking to achieve a balance in his life, and he hasn't found it in Huron so far. Plus, he can expect no sustenance from his family anymore, so he has to earn a living somehow.

And Caz has not struck me as the type to fast and wander about penniless. At least not on purpose. =)
