[HIVEMIND] It's Alive! It's Alive!

So PST is 8 hours behind me. Right. So here are some questions probably too complex for 1am people:

How many US timezones are there?
And what is the difference between PST and EST?

I get soooo confused. I live in a country with one timezone. :)

Mmmm, now you made me hungry, but I don't like to eat at 1 in the morning
I dunno, sometimes a 'past-midnight snack' can be nice. Of course, heavy foods don't exactly help one sleep, but a lighter snack or a small sandwich can sate hunger pangs.

Six. Hawaiian, Alaskan, Pacific, Mountain, Central and Eastern.
The difference between PST and EST is three hours. If it's 1:00 PST, it's 4:00 EST

In the US:
Eastern Standard Time: GMT -5:00
Central Standard Time: GMT -6:00
Mountain Time: GMT -7:00
Pacific Standard Time: GMT -8:00
Alaska (poor fools): GMT -9:00
Oh, and Hawaii: GMT -10:00

Ah in reading everyone else's responses, I see that I am the most tired, I forgot Alaska and Hawaii, and I was thinking everyone else would be too tired to respond correctly
