I'd agree with that. If one of our PDFs was given a bad review abecause of comparisons with Wizards, I'd be annoyed. However, if it was given a good review when compared to Wizards...

I don't know that it is fair to really compare products unless there are a lot of direct comparisons. A monster book for instance should not be really compared to another monster book unless they both were specifically about demons, or some other niche category. Likewise, a setting book should not be compared to Forgotten Realms unless they both use the same themes and style of play. So if a d20 LotR came out, then you could compare it to MERP or the new system, and you could compare 'Fex's steam book versus the FFG one, but really why? I think a book should be judged standing alone.
