Only played it for a few hours so far, but the story seems tighter than the original.

I prefer a protagonist-centered story. NWN screwed up by making the story Aribeth-centered.

Couldn't say really. I never read threads i'm not playing in.

The best i've seen is the Wheel of Time game i play, run by drothergy. Although we moved off board last year.

Dammit, the magic of Baldur's Gate is how the entire game is stealthily centered around you, the main guy. Unlike in NWN, where you're just some adventurer.
