Its pretty much only in Texas, New Mexico, Lousiana and Oklahoma. I heard a rumor there was one in London, since the company was bought by a UK based corporation. So I hear, at least. I really have not looked into that.

So not one we are likely to get then :D

What-A-Burger, one more small reason to stay in Texas. :D

One small goal of mine is to try every chain of fast food in the country. I need to get White Castle and Steaks'n'Shakes down for sure.

I love the Breakfast on a Bun too. In fact in college, I would get free BOBs for breakfast by making sculptures out of the little aluminum ashtrays they have there. I'd give them to the ladies working and they would get me a BOB.

There are lots of reasons to stay in Texas. What-A-Burger is a pretty good one. I lived in College Station for three years. College Station, by the way, is not a good reason to stay in Texas. (Although Freebirds World Burrito in College Station IS a very good reason. Best. Burritos. Ever.)

Steak and Shake is okay. The food is not that great, but the shakes are the bomb. Never eaten at a White Castle.

edit: spelling

Now, what if I were an Aggie? Or even better, in the Corps? :D I had some very bad experiences in that town with the college and the corps, so I'm not fond of it either.

Texas is most defintely home. I do want to see a bit more of the world however. Right now, I'm as far south as one can get an still be in Texas. I am on the beach though, so that's one good thing.

Hey, my wife's an Aggie and I got my MA there. We both agree that that town is good for about two years, then you have exhausted everything remotely interesting about it and begin to drink heavily. I went through three phases: "This town sucks" to "Well, it's not so bad" to "Yeah, well, it's starting to suck again and I need to leave." If you were in the Corps, I would look upon you with a mixture of fear, respect, and pity.

So, you live in South Padre? Spring Break! Whoo-hoo!

Very accurately put. :D

No, I wan't in the corps. I did have the priveledge of getting into a brawl with a couple of them because my long hair made me an inapproriate match for my then g/f, who was in the corps. Somehow I ended up in the clink, and they did not. :( I did come out of it better than they did though, which almost made up for the night in jail.
