Hey Maldur, I looked at the clockworks stuff you sent me Looks good so far; perhaps for the steam-powered stuff you could have it so the steam engine part automatically winds up the clockwork for the character or something, I guess. I'm going to include a Steamwork Clock in the Steam & Steel equipment section but have yet to flesh out the details...

Hehe, after my TPK about 2 months ago we switched tack and let someone else DM for a while. Now, I am DMing again from this week onwards, and I have advanced the world by a year, and with a war going on a bit has changed. Just in the process of writing it up.

Something interesting occured overnight. On my boards, a regualr poster who is a US Marine actually told us he is in Iraq, with 'net access from a portable wireless device. He is a platoon leader. Can you guys think of anything we can do to help him and his men out over there to keep them entertained?

Already done that, it was something the player's had only just started hearing rumours of.

The Order of the Black Diamond is new and secretive religious cult who practice forbidden magic (necromancy) and are rumoured to experiment on creatures by cross-breeding them and biologically enhancing them, until a totally new creature is born.
