Yup, only problem is that we have to be at the airport 2hrs early, I mean what am I gonna do for two hours, before a long plane ride, I can read once I'm on the plane, but waiting it'll be too noisy

Too noisy to roll up some NPCs? :D

Hmm, now that's a good idea, thanks.
Btw, Ankh-Morpork Guard: you sig says you're looking for a D&D PbP game, there's one that's going to be running at Randomling's house, you can see if there's any space left, the post title is "Cellsori Campaign", as that's Randomling's campaign setting

Actually I should probably get that out of my sig...since I'm not looking anymore. I'm already involved(in one way or another) in about 6 games...:) *fixes sig*

No problem. :)

My buddy Jason (Trevalon Moonleirion on the boards) uses his Palm Pilot all the time for that sort of thing. You might want to see if you can get one of those one of these days. I should, too, for that matter. :D

Kriskrafts and I only made it to one Gencon back in 1994, and that was a bit of a fluke in and of itself. My father had visited us in June, and did a major guilt trip on us about how his mother in Chicago really wanted to see her 1-year-old great granddaughter. So we decided that Chicago was close to Milwaulkie and did a road trip, visitng my Grandmother for several days both before and after the con. At the con itself we alternated baby detail, which worked out fine as that gave me time for the dealers room and sci-fi celebs when I wasn't gaming. I still have over 100 unpainted minitatures from then. I was very glad we made the trip, as my Grandmother died about half-a-year after that.

Yeah, I know I'm not bringing my laptop, but maybe I will bring my dice, I don't want to lose them as I have a pretty nice dice collection

Take my earlier suggestion, print out some Story Hours. Most of those are broken up into chapters, so could be read in small chunks at times full of distractions.

Have a great trip Tallok. Kris and I are hoping to get over there sometime too once we finish up the degrees that we are working on. Be sure to give us a full report once you get back.

Wow! Great story! What a nice thing to do for your family (and I'm glad the timing worked out). Where in Chicago? Do you still have other relatives here? :)
