I don't think there are very many people as far away from GenCon as I am. Well, there are... but interested in going?

Oh well. At least it rained last night.

I'm consoling myself with the addition of the Plane of Shadow to the SRD, and my acquisition of a PDF-generator. I might finally be able to get around to writing up Prisoner in Twilight, something I've been promising grodog for several months... years... whatever.

Before that, I've really got to finish off that conversion of Maze4. A PI issue has just raised its ugly head, though, with the declaration of Product Identity by Wizards of the Outer Planes.

Rob Kuntz has a nice little artifact in Maze4 that is linked to the old AD&D outer planes, but I don't think they can be used without stepping on the OGL. He's got this nice little concept of some alternative planes for Kalibruhn, but I don't really know them well enough.

What's slowing me down more than anything is the WINTER. Solar power doesn't work so well, and depression sets in.

It's worse this year because my father's still grieving - he has extremely bad days, and I'm the only one around to help.

Reviewing is something I do for my own enjoyment more than anything, and there's this bunch of them I want to do... and will get around to soon. I really should investigate the joys of PEN and PAPER - typing the blasted things up isn't that hard, but thinking up the proper phrasing takes time.

Maze4 is almost completely converted to the d20 System version .0 - I think there's one creature and Zayene's stats that I was yet to do, and one artifact to go. Of course, after that there's a bunch of formatting and other things that I think Allan is handling. I've already spent much more time on it than I should have.

How's Rob, btw? Is he getting around well again?

I am totally dependent on Allan for information on that score.

That appears to be about the latest I had heard on Rob, also. I'm sure we'll hear a lot more when he really gets moving again.

Well, good luck with the finishing up of the project. I hope you can find some remedy for the Winter blahs and that your father finds a way to work through the grief soon. All things in their time, I suppose.
