I missed my weekly game this week cause our GM was on-call. Of course, I'll probably get kicked off these boards and back to dragon's foot for admitting it's a 1st ed. game.

But hey! We're playing 3rd ed soon too.

No worries on the 1st ed. game, I still have mine on the same shelf as my d20 books. Have ya'll tried Hackmaster? I hear its 1st edition, just a little less than serious.

I bought the core books for it...well sort of. I haven't bought all 78 monster manuals yet ...or what is just 8? I can't recall...

Haven't tried it, but if I ever run 1st ed again (which may happen, I plan to game for another 60 years or so). I'll likely borrow some elements from HM.

There's some good stuff under all that cheese.
