I simply wait for the time eight weeks hence, when the dastardly duo of Wednesday night classes and Early thursday starts have been defeated. Then I can go back to my usual love of Thursdays as payday-with-beer-on-top :D

Yup. That does sound fun. Although i no longer have a "pay day" thanks to incompitant oil tanker captains.

Besides i'm gonna order the book today when i go to get my comics, so with any luck i'll have it by Gen-Con.

You should, it's obviouslly out there to be found. I'll have to give it a good read and post a review at some point. Too much to do.....

I never could get a hang on Thursdays. And the Earth was destroyed on a Thursday. I think I'll take Ford's advice and have a few beers over lunch. ;)

beer, of course, being a ephamism for tea.

Who of you read , China Mieville's "The scar"?

I just finished it , and its very good .

It is good, isn't it? :D I'm currently rewriting the vehicles section of Steam & Steel, and have added in the Personal Dirigible, based on the balloonist scout that appears early on in the book. Am thinking of adding a 5-level PrC for pilots for it too ;)

i always like this phrase for some reason. I mean, given the disasterous effects of incompetency in their line of work, you'd think the human resource department would phase out those who didn't meet the minimum standards :D

Of course!! Although I did actually have a full beer two weeks ago, it was the only think cold my friend had. I know, it really was the world shattering news event that it sounds like. :D

There's something inherantly wrong with that. Couldn't we at least go for something a little stronger, like coffee?

No!! Next you'll say that my Accapella version of Sweet Home Alabama is wrong as well!!

:D
