Hey guys, I need some advice. Both my wife and my sister are going to take part in thier first D&D game together, and I've got to come up with something.

My wife is playing and elven sorcoress, while my sis is playing an elven druidess.

The sorcoress is very noble and such and has a lot of social skills, while the druidess is of course, very outdoorsy.

How on earth am I going to get them together?

unfortunatly i fell behind on the design journal on monte's site, but even still i think rules and setting will end up being very cool and very diffent from the traditional D&d stuff we're used to.

Some kind of political scandal in the elven higharchy involving the expansion of the capital at the exspense of some of the oldest nateral woodlands in the area. The one behind the movement is actually a evil wizard/doppleganger/other villian that is tring to recover an item of vast power hidden there. Your wife's character stubbles upon the plot an is forced to flee the city to find aid in thwarting the plot. Enter the druidess...

It's a buddy movie. These two are obviously opposites in every way, and yet they find themselves thrown together and having to work with each other in order to stop the bad guys. Classic buddy film.

So, you can send the outdoorsy druidess into the big city to accomplish something, and have her run into local sorceress. Two Girls In Big City fun!

Or have the sorceress travelling somewhere when she gets lost/separated/attacked/kidnapped and finds herself alone in the forest. Druidess finds her and tries to get her back out of the forest. Cue wacky hi-jinks as uppity city girl learns a heart-warming lesson on the meaning of (insert virtue here).

Buddy film! It'll be a blast!

Add me to the list of those buying Arcana Unearthed when it comes out. I can't wait to see it.

After everything I've heard about Midnight, I'll probably pick that up, too.
