A small consolation for you- a patch may fix a programming error for that. Mine is on PS2, so I bought myself a lemon.

Not sure if it is a programming error, just a tough bloody area (4 red Slaad and a Grey Slaad against a 7th level druid).

Hey, whatever happened to Horacio and Dragongirl? I haven't seen them around for quite a while. Have they hooked up somewhere else in cyberspace?

Last I heard, Horacio was taking some time off to work on his thesis in an effort to finally get it done. Mind you when he initially said that he was still answering the occasional e-mail, and it was a couple of months back at least.

Last time I talked to DG, it appears she was having money troubles again. She may well have lost access to the phone line she was using.

I can recommend them. They're lots of fun, and they slip in under the radar of the everpopular "Protection from Evil" spells.

Of course, I might just like the idea of demons with wolverine claws

I've been thinking about running them in my next Modern campaign. I've always kind of avoided extraplanars in my DnD games, and my modern game has been about the things I never use in DnD. I was even considering some way to use the idea of a Githyanki invasion (like in Incursion) in the modern world.

That's odd. I went from using 0 outsiders in 2e, to making them a near permenent fixture in every adventure once I got my hands on 3e. I actually had to create a campaign setting where there were no outsiders before I started using other creatures with any regularity, and even then I started sneaking them in under other names after a year or so.
