i certainly understand DM burnout 'fex. i've have more of my games end because i was burned out than any other reason (like TPKs and such )

Well, that's the thing - it's not really burnout. I just miss being a player, and I keep on getting good character concepts that I can't use

Argh. I'm currently hiding away upstairs. There's been a bit of bad feeling between the occupants of my gf's house, mainly between her and one of her housemates, against a third housemate. I think they're all sitting down to talk it through downstairs now, so I'm keeping well clear of it all.

Yeah, the PS game is getting amusing. They had to fight a behir on monday night; it used cleave combined with its swallow whole attack to good effect, ending up with 3 out of the four PC's inside it

The worst thing was, the two halfings knwe that another round of acid/digestion damage would kill both of them, and it all fell to the tiefling psionic warrior's attack roll to see if he would cut his way out, killing the behir and saving them, or if the two halflings would perish> I said the fatal phrase "don't roll a 5 or less" so he promptly rolled a 3

There was some serious tension as he rolled that d20

Oh, my gf is the only female of the housemates. Nonetheless I decided to vacate the area and let them sort it out amongst themselves...
