Sunny but chilly day here on the pharm - the sun beats down but the white snow seems to reflect the light and heat both, leaving cold air brilliantly illuminated.

Have an exterminator and chimney-sweep coming in on Thursday to celan out the bee hive in the chimney. It was far larger than we thought, there are thousands of dead bees scattered about the snowbanks around the homestead, in the heat of the sun they have sunk into the snow, leaving two-inch deep pits in the banks, each with a solitary frozen bee at the bottom.
