Woke up on my own today at the crack of dawn and headed out for a day-after-Thanksgiving sale. Only bought one thing - a 32" television set (at an unbelievable price, but unless you were actually in line when the store opened you didn't get one - only 22 per store and I think I was around the 20th person). Haven't gotten it out of the box yet as we need to rearrange the funiture in the family room to fit it in.
Other than that it has been a major office day for me - looking up email address of hospitals and e-mailing out surveys to all of the hospital CEO's who haven't responded yet to the mailed survey. I've gotten them out to all of the Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire hospitals that didn't respond. Now it's on to Massachusetts. Whenever I get bored I've been taking a break to do laundry and check the boards.
Well.. i just spent the better part of the morning and a good chunk of the afternoon maping out a repulsor coil plant for a Star Wars game.
yuck. I hate making maps. At least there is not much else to do on a rainy day when you've got the time off. Suppose I should copy it onto a larger pice of paper.
No gaming tonight, so I've got lots of free time today. WHEEEE.
Thanks to leftovers, I can be the epitomy of laziness and not even have to cook.
Links are in my sig, wombatgirl. The Barsoom Tales one is about seventeen or eighteen episodes, I think, but Wild Stewardesses is just starting -- still just one page! You can get in right at the start!
Writing tips -- dunno. I think my SH's are quite different from most people's -- I don't really refer to them as part of a game, I just make up a story based around what happened. If you see what I mean.
Pick a point of view and tell the story from that -- like your character, if you're a player. Instead of trying to explain everything, just give us your character's view on things.
You can have a lot of fun inside your character's head, them complaining about the other players and so on.
