Btw, Maldur, I tried your Satay variation (modified slightly), and it was yummy.

(When I say Satay variation, I off course mean that the Satay I know, I learned from my stepmom who's a Thai cook educated as that in Thailand (7 years education down there))

Glad you liked it. The one I wrote up is a very simple indonesian satay. If you got the basis sauce down, you can try all kindsa things with it chopped union in it, or more spice Also the meat can easily be replaced by different things (tofu for vegitarians, or shrimps, beef etc) Goat meat is one of my favourites. But dont forget to soak the satay sticks ( if you use wood) when you put them on the grill ( or BBQ) unsoaked they burn easily
