Fantastic … will help if you want. Swapping scythe for large club as we speak. Right let’s go beat people up! :D

Ooops must run … lots of work to do. Will check back when hopefully you’ve allocated me a target to destroy.

Have arrived, but I guess I'm probably a little late :p

You are, it was pretty good, but I only saw a small part as someone brought food:) ( I got distracted by chinese food)

You might wanna check a tv guide to see if it reruns or something.

Quick quiz! Who can tell me who discovered the usefullness of steam for locomotion and automization?

(If you're thinking about a guy born after Jesus, you're on the wrong track already.)
Can never remember exactly which guy it was (there are so many ancient Greek philosophers with odd names...) but yeah, in Europe at least it was a Greek philosopher. He made an amusing little steam engine that basically span this globe round and round via pushing steam out of two vents. Dunno about outside Europe though (though that was probably the first discovery of steam's use for locomotion).

So in fact the Roman empire coulda been cruising round Europe on trains by the time Jesus was born. Shame the philosopher guy never followed up on his discovery to actually exploit it fully.

THey had a working model of the spinning globe thingy ( heridius device or something???)

Also many big ass coal mine pumps and such. Good stuff

The guy that invented the steam engine was indeed a greek philosopher, Heron, lived in the 1st century AD, but was born between 10 and 5 BC.
