hmmm - source of this spell ?

This is not directly a rules question , but here goes :

Anyone has an idea what resource the Spell Stone Blast (???) is from - a 4th level arcane evocation sorcery, Instant, medium range, doing 4d6 fire damge plus 3d6 explosive/impact damage in a 40' spread - according to the player's sources. He feels an urgent desire to learn that spell with his sorcereor, and I besides wondering at the massive spread radius , have never heard of that one. Seems like an awfully easy way to clear away whole regiments of lesser humanoid warriors in one fell swoop.

Am a bit stumped where this spell is supposed to be from (for verification - especially of limitations) - the name is open to conjecture IMHO as he had the spell data copied from a friend's smudged file card. Any help appreciated.


EDIT - thanks for the help, it was "Earth's Reaver" from Savage Species. actually, it has an even nastier spread - 20 +10'/ level. Feels way overpowered - this spell means the end to almost any formation/infantry warfare - it creates a minimum 180' diameter hole (with an average 24 points damage - lets not talk "empowered", or even worse, "explosive" ) in enemy formations....

Check the errata.
It drops the radius to a fixed 20'.
Still a nice spell, but not overpowered.
